Ordinary solid-colour cubes: identical stickers and rotating the whole cube do not create new positions. Count and formula: OEIS A075152.

Larger puzzles can take longer to solve; you can cancel a search.

1. Copy your cube colours0 of 6 faces checked

Enter all six faces

The starting colours are an example. Replace them with the colours on your real cube.

How should I hold my cube?

Choose a front and an up face and keep using those same names. On a standard cube, start with white up and green in front. On an odd-sized cube the fixed centre identifies each face. On an even-sized cube, choose these directions using the corner colours.

Look straight at each face when copying it. The editor tells you which neighbouring face belongs above and below it. Turn the whole cube to look at a side, without twisting its layers. Use the 90° correction buttons if you copied a face sideways.

Capture one face, check the colours and copy them into the solver. Images stay on your device.

Practise with an example scrambleFor learning or testing, instead of entering your real cube

R2 is a half turn; R′ is anticlockwise. Rw turns two right layers; 3Rw turns three. 2R turns only the second right layer.

2. Check your cube

Drag the cube to look around. This changes your view, not the stickers.

Copy and check all six faces first. Then compare this model with your real cube.
