A logo automatically uses high error correction. Keep strong contrast and test the finished code on your phone.

Static codes have no expiry set by this generator, no scan tracking and no subscription. The destination must still remain available.

What can I put in a QR code?

Choose a website link, plain text, Wi-Fi connection details, a contact card, an email, a phone number or a text message. A scanner reads the contents and its app decides how to handle them. The generator does not send messages or make calls for you.

Can I customise QR colours and add my logo?

Yes. Open Advanced options to choose squares, rounded squares or dots, change the colours and add a centre logo. Corner markers, timing lines and alignment patterns stay square to help scanners read the code reliably, even with dots selected. The surrounding border stays clear. The tool requires a dark pattern on a lighter background, and switches to high error correction when you add a logo.

How does a Wi-Fi QR code work?

The code contains the network name, password and selected security type. Compatible phones can use that information to offer a connection. Enter every character exactly as configured on the network. Generation is local; the code itself contains the password, so treat the downloaded image as access information.

Should I download PNG or SVG?

PNG is convenient for sharing and inserting into documents. Advanced options lets you choose its pixel dimensions. SVG keeps the QR pattern as vector shapes, which is useful for resizing and print layouts; an uploaded logo is embedded as a raster image. Test your final artwork at the size and viewing distance you intend to use.

Do these QR codes expire?

These are static codes containing the information you entered. This generator does not impose an expiry or route scans through a tracking service. A linked website can still disappear or change, and a Wi-Fi code needs updating if the network credentials change.

Why might a QR code fail to scan?

A small print size, weak contrast, damaged artwork, dense contents or an oversized logo can make reading harder. Test the code on more than one device before distributing it. Contact and message actions also depend on the scanning app. The generator uses the open-source QRCode library to encode the data, with local styling and downloads.
