Cookies and sign-in problems
If a website keeps forgetting you or sends you around a sign-in loop, cookie settings are one possible cause.
“Enabled” is only a general browser signal
The checker reports the browser’s cookie setting. It does not prove that every site can store cookies. A particular site, third-party cookies, extensions or private browsing can have separate restrictions.
Compare the affected site carefully
Check that you are using the correct site address, your device’s clock is sensible and you have completed any required sign-in steps. Try another browser if available and note whether the result changes.
Use site-specific controls first
Your browser may let you review storage and permissions for just the affected site. Removing that data can sign you out and may delete preferences or unsaved work. Save anything important before changing it.
Do not disable privacy protections everywhere
If support suggests a cookie exception, ask which site needs it and why. On a managed device, ask your IT team. A sign-in loop may also be caused by the service itself rather than your settings.
Tell support what you observed
Send the error, your browser version and which comparisons helped. Our support-details guide gives you a short checklist.
